Blog Post 7. Grant Spruiell

In the flower dissection lab, I dissected a yellow flower under a 4x magnified microscope. The parts of the flower, shown below. I first pulled a pedal off the flower with a little bit of the stalk, exposing the stigma. I the continued by cutting the stalk away to show the filament and style. Reaching down, I have hit the ovules ovary and pistils
                                                       
                                                     
Due to the microscope being very Annoying and the images not functioning normally I could not get actual images. The dissection was quick and somewhat easy. Here are images that are accurately labeled. The images above are of the same family of flowers that I dissected I’m my, well, dissection.
