ESLP Garden Clean Up by Steven Trujillo

For the last round of ESLP projects I signed up for Garden Clean Up. I choose this selection because I thought it would be cool to work on the garden and pick up new skills in the process. On Friday I showed up to the class and started garden clean up. For the first hour we moved a big pile of dirt to this container and laid down wood boards to stop mingling. We did this by shoveling dirt into buckets and transporting it to the container. Then we laid down the boards to create flat surface that will stop the mingling. Now for the second hour of garden clean up we transported piles of gravel and sand to the area we just cleared in hour one. We did this by filling wheel barrows and bringing them over. We found this very hard because some fell off the wood board and we dropped two wheel barrows full and had to clean it up. Finally we put away all the supplies and were done. I can take away that shoveling is back breaking work and to try not to make messes because they are hard to clean like when we dropped the wheel barrow.
