On the first day we went out to the garden we worked in the small chicken coup. There we cleaned out the old wood chips on the floor and replaced it, because they were all wet from their water. We put about an inch high of the wood chips.
On the second day we went out to the small plant area on varsity lane and added more wood chips there. That place had almost no wood chips, so adding more will protect the plants from rain and critters stomping on the roots. We put about 2 new layers or wood chips.
