Jonathan's Spring Cleaning Blog Post
Although I did only two hours of garden cleanup, it was fun mulching the garden fields and scooping the chicken waste out of the coop to turn it into compost. I also tried my best not to let the chickens out of the pen. Cleaning up the environment is always a good thing to keep the Earth clean and healthy. The mulch prevents weeds from growing around the area and when the chicken waste turns into compost, it can benefit the soil massively; it is a good way to grow plants and prevent trash from going to the landfill. If the compost mixes with wood chips and leaves, then it becomes mulch.
