Matt Miller's Garden Cleanup Experience
It was a great experience cleaning up the WGHS GOLD Garden for the Ecology Service Learning Project and learning about the extraordinary plants we planted and extracted. We worked two 2 hour shifts and worked on the main garden, the WGHS GOLD garden, the Butterfly Garden, and the gardens on Varsity Lane and in the senior parking lot. After mulching all the gardens, clearing the paths, and pulling out very impressive weeds, everyone in our group started to appreciate the garden and plants in general. It was a great experience cleaning the multiple gardens on our campus, and I hope it stays in the shape it is in now, and continues to look great.
